Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 in 1970) is an American actress best known for portraying the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's Providence drama and The Resident's medical drama The Resident. She also received high praise for her first television role in Guiding Light on CBS as Eleni Cooper. 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians The Lightning Thief and Snitch are among her credits on film. The Wheel of Life by Elisabeth Kubler Ross, the writer of the Immortals film Immortals will be adapted to the large-screen. She will be working alongside Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. The actress is currently filming the upcoming show Gods & Heroes.
